Sirmione, Italy is definitely a popular tourist spot. We visited Sirmione in August and it was filled with tourists. After walking around the village a little bit we immediately realized why Sirmione is such a popular tourist spot in Northern Italy. Padova lies about on hour drive from Venice in Northern Italy. It is very easy to reach Padova from the A4 motorway and we just followed the signs to the main square in Padova. We arrived in Padova, Italy on a very hot day in August. We did whatever we could to escape the heat. Even though we didn’t have much time to walk around we enjoyed Padova, Italy very much. The amazing Pratto della Valle square fascinated us with all many and beautiful sculptures.

We visited Milan, Italy on a very hot July day. We landed in the middle of a very busy large Italian city and we were relieved that Milan was only going to be a quick stop on our Northern Italy itinerary. Milan is the industrial and financial capital of Northern Italy and as such it is a city full of life. For the tourist, however, Milan is not very exciting. Except for a few extraordinary tourist attractions, Milan is an uninteresting European city. Read on to see some of my travel pictures.

Anglesey Abbey is closely connected to Cambridge because it’s only about 15 minutes driving distance from Cambridge. What is strange about Anglesey Abbey is the word “abbey”. Judging by the name alone you expect Aglessey to be some ruins of an old Abbey. However, it’s far from the truth.

New Zealand is one of those travel destinations that is a little far for us Americans. However, it is a gorgeous place to visit based on what my friends are telling me. Italy is a large country. You can drive for many hours to reach certain famous tourist destinations. It is really cool then, when you are able to find some cool places to stop on the way. While Genoa is a famous tourist attraction in its own right, we only had time to treat it as a rest stop on our way to the French Riviera. We were only able to spend about three hours in Genoa, but we were really impressed by how the city and the port looked. Read on to see some cool travel pictures from Genoa, Italy.
