Italy is a large country. You can drive for many hours to reach certain famous tourist destinations. It is really cool then, when you are able to find some cool places to stop on the way. While Genoa is a famous tourist attraction in its own right, we only had time to treat it as a rest stop on our way to the French Riviera. Northern Italy is home of most of Italy’s industry but it’s also home of the Alps. The Italian part of the Alps gives the tourist ey unending scenery to delight in and plenty of space to relax. Barcis is a very small tourist village nestled in the Alps on the shores of Lago di Barcis(Lake Barcis). Driving to Barcis will take you thorough some of the longest tunnels in Italy, but it will also give you beautiful and amazing natural beauty to behold.
