Silverwood Lake in Hesperia California is well known for many things: great picnic areas, stunning natural beauty and amazing fishing. We only got to stop at a vista point overlooking the lake. I wish we would have had more time to visit the lake this time. I have only visited Silverwood Lake once before…a few years ago and I was impressed by how blue and clean the water was. Ryan…I’m glad you like it in Hesperia…for me it’s a bit too hot. However, I have visited the lake a couple of times and loved it every time. My uncle loves fishing there.

My family went thru the process of the state of Calif taking the land for the lake to be put in.It was beautiful before and also now.Spent my high school years there.Many good times.Plan to see it again 25 feb 2011 with my Alabama wife who live at lake guntersville.net
